We are excited to offer an add-on to our Shamanic Journey to Peru – an amazing 6-day journey to the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. This adventure will include an opportunity to deepen and integrate your awareness and understandings of the past 13 days and further raise your personal vibration through experiences in nature that you can’t have anywhere else.
Swim with the rare Pink Dolphins, explore Aya in the jungle, frolic with free-roaming friendly monkeys, embark on exciting jungle treks (day and night!), ride a thrilling eco-zip line over the Amazon tree canopy and experience interactions with the indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
Itinerary Overview:
Day 1 (Monday July 4)
Fly with the group from Cuzco to Iquitos (via Lima) in the morning. Pick up and transfer to Dawn of the Amazon Cafe on the banks of the mighty Amazon in Iquitos. After brunch embark on boat ride to Padre Cocha. Visit the Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Farm and Animal Orphanage and help support rescued indigenous animals. Transfer to remote retreat center La Luna del Amazonas. Group circle. Flower Bath. Night time Aya ceremony.

Day 2 (Tuesday July 5)
Breakfast and circle followed by boat trip on the Amazon River to La Isla de Los Monos. Afternoon free for integration and relaxing in the forest with the friendly free-roaming rescued monkeys that call the island home. Transfer back to La Luna for dinner.

Day 3 (Wednesday July 6)
Morning transfer to Iquitos. Then boat ride and wildlife viewing up the Amazon to the remote and beautiful Tahuayo Lodge. Afternoon eco-friendly zip line through the top of the forest canopy to see a bird’s eye view of the wild jungle. Dinner at the lodge. Night time jungle walk to experience the nocturnal animals with expert wildlife guides.

Day 4 (Thursday July 7)
Morning jungle trek to see the indigenous wild life. Afternoon boat ride to swim with the wild Pink dolphins. Dinner at lodge and night time jungle walk. (They customize to what we want to do)

Day 5 (Friday July 8)
Day spent hiking, boating, swimming with dolphins. Evening meditation and somatic breath work to anchor in potent Amazon jungle / river / wildlife energies.

Day 6 (Saturday July 9)
Morning activity with the local indigenous tribe families. Donation to their local community in honor of their sharing their lands with us. Afternoon wildlife viewing along the amazon en route to Iquitos. Dinner at Karma Cafe and overnight in Iquitos. Closing circle.

Day 7 (Sunday July 10)
Transfer to airport in Iquitos for flight to Lima or Cusco. Catch departing flights home.
