Breakfast and group circle.
Boat trip on the Amazon River to Isla de los Monos. (Island of the Monkeys) a place for rescued and rehabilitated monkeys.
Afternoon free on the island for integration and relaxing in the forest and / or with the monkeys.
Transfer back to Dimensiones Espirituales for dinner.
Isla de los Monos
The Island of the monkeys is a very special place. This entire island was purchased to be a haven to rescued and rehabilitated monkeys.
It is a cage-free rescue center 30km from Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon, dedicated to the protection and conservation of abandoned and orphaned monkeys.
Something very magical happens when you get “skin – to – fur” with wild animals. The real and present feeling that we are all connected to something so much bigger than ourselves – that we can relate on deep levels even with a different species that does not share our language. The precious rescued monkeys that roam freely on the island will give you plenty of opportunities to play, cuddle and relax with them.
Or you can seek solitude in the nearby forest or by the by the flowing river.
Also you will get to meet coatimundis, sloths, exotic birds, marmosets and other adorable species.
Transfer back to Dimensiones Espirituales for dinner and a refreshing night’s sleep.
